Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team as a Freight Unloader. This position involves unloading freight and ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload freight from delivery trucks and containers
  • Sort and organize items for storage or distribution
  • Ensure all items are handled safely to prevent damage
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily unloading goals

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
  • Experience on pallet jack, forklift and clamp machines is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

Hours:

Monday-Friday 5:30am- finish (approx. 3pm).

Compensation:

  • Hourly while training and then to piecework pay structure based on the volume of freight unloaded
