This role bridges business development, solution architecture, and proposal management—ensuring that technical solutions are competitive, compliant, and aligned with customer needs. The Technical Capture Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and business development, to develop winning strategies and proposals.<ul><li>Lead the capture process for technical programs, including opportunity qualification, competitive analysis, and win strategy development.</li></ul><ul><li>Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and mission objectives.</li></ul><ul><li>Translate customer needs into innovative, feasible, and cost-effective technical solutions.</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and manage capture plans, schedules, and budgets.</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate technical solution development with engineering and subject matter experts.</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee proposal technical volumes, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and alignment with win themes.</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.</li></ul><ul><li>Support pricing strategy development in collaboration with finance and contracts teams.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor capabilities.</li></ul> Required Education, Experience, & Skills <ul><li>Bachelors\' degree from an accredited university; in lieu of degree, additional years of related experience</li><li>12+ years of experience in capture management, business development, or technical program leadership.</li></ul><ul><li>Proven track record of winning complex technical contracts in government or commercial sectors.</li><li>Technical acumen in any of the following, or similar categories: artificial intelligence, technology automation, quantum, enterprise IT, etc</li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of the full capture lifecycle, including solution development and proposal management.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to lead cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.</li></ul><br>Core Competencies<ul><li>Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving</li><li>Technical Solution Development</li><li>Customer Relationship Management</li><li>Competitive Analysis & Positioning</li><li>Proposal Development Leadership</li></ul><br>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Active Top Secret clearance preferred<br>Pay Information<br>Full-Time Salary Range: $173023 - $294137<br>Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
