Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking detail-oriented and reliable Entry-Level Chat Moderators to join our growing remote operations team. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to start their career in online moderation and digital customer support without phone-based responsibilities. As a Chat Moderator, you will help maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging online environment by monitoring conversations, enforcing platform guidelines, and supporting users through text-based interactions only.

This is a fully remote position that offers flexibility, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to grow within a technology-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor live chat rooms, forums, or messaging platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines

  • Review and moderate user-generated content, including text messages and comments

  • Identify, flag, and remove inappropriate, harmful, or policy-violating content

  • Respond to user inquiries and concerns through chat in a professional and timely manner

  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to senior moderators or management when required

  • Maintain accurate records of moderation actions and user interactions

  • Stay up to date with moderation policies, platform rules, and updates

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of moderation processes and quality standards

Required Skills and Qualifications
