The Virtual Medical Team (VMT) delivers round-the-clock care nationwide in partnership with our in-office providers, ensuring a smooth and consistent patient experience no matter where members are. Reporting to the National VMT Operations Leader, VMT Operations Managers work in partnership with Regional Virtual Medical Directors to drive key business outcomes and support teams of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Associates (PAs) in delivering high-quality, affordable care.<br/><br/>You are a strong communicator who knows how to motivate teams and guide them toward shared goals. You are comfortable using both qualitative and quantitative insights to inform your decisions, and you take a thoughtful, holistic approach when introducing new workflows that improve the patient and provider experience. You can balance big-picture strategy with day-to-day operational needs, and you are passionate about healthcare innovation and building the future of virtual primary care.<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/><br/>- Record, analyze, and monitor performance metrics to identify process and performance gaps across the VMT NP/PA organization<br/><br/>- Create intervention plans that address national, regional, and individual gaps<br/><br/>- Partner with Regional Virtual Medical Directors on quarterly priorities for new rollouts, making strategic trade-offs with business objectives<br/><br/>- Visualize and present data-driven insights with progress reports to senior leadership, serve as VMT Operations spokesperson to frontline teams<br/><br/>- Own national initiatives, including project plan management, leading cross-functional meetings, escalating roadblocks, and crafting communication strategies<br/><br/>- Independently manage complex databases of rosters, schedules, and medical licenses using advanced spreadsheet data analysis and automation<br/><br/>- Utilize patient demand forecasts to make both real-time and long-term staffing determinations for each region, state, and license type, and team<br/><br/>- Design provider schedules in partnership with the Workforce Management team and the Flex Labor Manager, balancing patient demand with provider experience<br/><br/>A day in the life<br/><br/>Your day will be dynamic and purpose-driven, focusing on supporting remote medical providers and optimizing patient care processes. You'll collaborate closely with Regional Virtual Medical Directors, analyze performance metrics, and develop strategies that enhance both provider effectiveness and patient satisfaction. We value collaboration, continuous learning, and a shared mission of making quality healthcare more convenient and inclusive.<br/><br/><b>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</b><br/><br/>- 3+ years of program or project management experience<br/><br/>- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL<br/><br/>- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements<br/><br/>- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams<br/><br/>- Experience with analytics tools, preferably with focus on forecasting and staffing<br/><br/><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</b><br/><br/>- 2+ years of Tableau or equivalent tools experience<br/><br/>- 2+ years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience<br/><br/>- Experience collaborating with healthcare leaders, including MD/DO, NP/PA, PharmD/RPh, and RN providers<br/><br/>- Experience managing teams across multiple locations and time zones, preferably with customer-facing teams and services<br/><br/>The base salary range for this position is listed below.
