Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring experienced Warehouse Associates to join our team at the Temple Logistics Distribution Center! Enjoy working in a clean, climate-controlled facility with an updated break room, while playing a key role in managing inventory and shipments that support patient care across our system. Multiple Openings

We offer a very competitive salary. Offers can increase based on the candidate's relevant experience. There is also an additional $1.50/hr. shift differential pay for nights, and an additional $1.75/hr. shift differential pay for weekends (Sunday) that are added to the hourly rate.

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate will perform all distribution functions relating to receiving, stocking, transacting purchase orders, order shipping, order loading, order selecting, and sanitation, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will be cross-functional and support one or more distribution functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Lifts, loads, conveys, and processes products by hand, material handling equipment, hand truck, or other means from inbound trucks to point of use and overflow storage in and out of the distribution center.
Operates material handling equipment, RF scanners, warehouse management software controlled hand held devices, read monitors and interpreting and comprehension of distribution data and logic.
Sorts, consolidates and transports products prior to stocking, replenishing, loading and unloading.
Attaches identifying tags to containers or marks with identifying information for customer ease of use.
Validates shelf life and product integrity for patient care standards, and examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
Manually stacks and unstacks, builds, packs and unpacks pallets or cargo boards, and orders product weighing up to or over 50 pounds.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment and product usability for health care customers.
May be responsible for the management of accurate receiving and documentation of incoming freight and expediting outgoing return shipments within the established timeframe set by management.
May be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, reconciling and responding to escalated issues from junior warehouse Associates to determine appropriate solution or whether to escalate to next supervisory level.

Ability to work in a safe, productive and accurate fashion continuously for 8-10 hours a shift.
