Job Overview

Here, at the Julia Jakacki Agency, we are looking for a highly organized, detail loving professional to help ensure client documents are accurate and complete. This is a non-sales role focused on reviewing policies, checking documentation, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

The Policy Review & Quality Specialist is responsible for reviewing insurance policies after they are sold to confirm all documentation, signatures, and underwriting requirements are complete. This role helps protect our clients and our agency by ensuring policies are accurate and renewal ready.


You will work closely with our service and sales team to flag missing information and follow up on corrections.


Salary Range: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Requirements

  • Must be licensed and able to pass a background check (required)
  • Insurance industry experience (service, processing, or underwriting support preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail — you catch things others miss
  • Comfortable working independently with structured tasks
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Computer literate and comfortable working in multiple systems
  • Highly organized and process oriented
  • Able to follow procedures consistently and accurately

Responsibilities

  • Review newly written policies for accuracy and completeness
  • Confirm all required applications, forms, and signatures are on file
  • Check that coverages match client requests and underwriting approvals
  • Ensure underwriting requirements have been satisfied and documented
  • Prepare files to be renewal-ready by confirming documentation is complete
  • Identify missing information and communicate clearly with the team for corrections
  • Maintain organized digital files and documentation systems
  • Track common errors and help improve internal processes
