The More Than Giving Company is seeking experienced virtual administrative assistants to join our exclusive, top-of-the-line, Nonprofit Virtual Assistant (NPVA®) Service. Join an elite group of contractors working with multiple high-performing nonprofits.

Our NPVA’s are proactive, organized, and excellent project managers. Our clients look to our NPVA’s for guidance and direction, as well as the ability to independently manage administrative operations.

We are seeking individuals to perform a variety of administrative tasks for nonprofit organizations, with a focus on fundraising specific projects. All activities will be performed virtually.

Applicants with experience utilizing Little Green Light are highly desired!

NPVA tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain the organization’s master calendar.
  • Manage and update organization’s contact database.
  • Schedule and manage board meetings and committee meetings; record and distribute notes; attend monthly board meetings virtually; Assist in board engagement activities.
  • Assist in donor engagement and in drafting solicitation letters; Manage and update donor/sponsor information.
  • Provide administrative support to fundraising and special events; Maintain event registration.
  • Manage email and process general correspondence. Document management and records retention.
  • Light bookkeeping; general project management.

Professional Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years as a virtual administrative assistant (no exceptions)
  • Minimum of 3 years working with nonprofit organizations (no exceptions)
  • Minimum 5 years as an Administrative/Executive Assistant is required (no exceptions)
  • College degree is preferred, some college or related certification is required
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and written and oral communication skills
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office, MailChimp/Constant Contact, Dropbox, Google Suite, Zoom, Trello/Asana, Eventbrite, Calendly, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram

Additional:

  • Maintain reliable high-speed internet connection, computer hardware and software, reliable phone/headset. Hired contractors are required to have their own equipment.
  • Be based in the U.S. and agree to a criminal background check.
  • Provide 3 references and two writing samples.
  • Agree to complete The More than Giving Co NPVA® certification program.
  • Secure professional liability insurance.
